add comparison with Kimchi reader

Hello,

i’m learning Korean language and found your app interesting but lacks some features that (Kimchi reader) has. for example frequency words, statistic dashboard, lemmatize Korean words, comprehension rate, etc. please take a look at Kimchi reader to know what is missing for your app. thanks

features:
1- the developer of kimchi reader made tool to identify the Korean words without repetition unlike LingQ, Language reactor, etc. so the app doesn’t mark multiple conjugations as new words
2- the developer parse a huge list of media and extract words frequency based on these media, this very helpful because they recommend you the best learning material based on comprehensible input.
3- he also has grammar frequency based on these media.
4- the statistic dashboard have everything about progress.
5- he also has recommendation system based on known words to suggest the best material to watch based on comprehensible input.
you should look at his website and you will understand these features.

  I think tool for identifying korean words without mark multiple conjugated words as new words
  Also i forgot to mention another feature
  6 - he make plugin for anki to make flashcards. It is called mining sentences. It is amazing because you can add words with context and audio from videos.

  i don’t know how the developer make the tool to identify the words without conjugation. for example, in English the verb (go) is the dictionary form, but it has many conjugation. (going,gone,etc). it is the same thing in Korean language for example (가다) is the dictionary form of Korean verb (Go). but in Korean language there are a lot of conjugation of this verb (가요,간다,가는다,갈게요,etc)
  . i think he is the only developer i know that making tool to identify the dictionary form of Korean words. all other apps like LingQ, language reactor, etc didi’t solve this problem. that is why they mark any conjugated words as new words.

  so if we take the example of english, you would like that gone, went, etc would part of to go. and that it treats “gone” as “to go” so it will be highlighted in the subtitles if you have bookmarked “to go” or any of it’s form actually. Is that what we are talking about ?
  And in the notebook how would that look, it would add “gone” but with dictionary form “to go” ?

  yes. that is what the developer made it like that. so it is useful because we need accurate common frequency words in the languages. so you can calculate comprehension rate and recommendation system.

  The only disadvantage with kimchi reader, that the developer make it only work on korean language. So app supporting multiple languages will be cheaper for most people. No one want to subscribe to multiple apps to learn languages separately.

  I see yeah, that’s like narrowing the market so much, I have a big vision for FluentAI, so definitely interested in adding the features you’d like from Kimchi :)
