Selectable sentences and editing
The sentence bookmarking currently is grabbing subtitle blobs without a way to have a specific sentence. It would be nice if the subtitles were actually sentence aware and split that way, really. Short of that, maybe a way to select a sentence out to create a card.

Yeah. I just tested this some more, and none of the players in this space are actually doing any sentence-based chunking. I’ve been mostly focused on words up to this point and hadn’t really noticed that slices are pretty arbitrary.

Oh I understand now. I'm already doing that.
All it needs is word level timestamp. Which is only available on Youtube on some videos and when the AI Subitles are on, which are gonna be working soon.
Here it’s weird that you got punctuations and it didn’t do sentence based chunking, do you have a link ?

Okay! You’re right, of course. Now that I’m paying more attention, I started doing more comparison testing and this video seems to be an outlier. Other videos are sliced much more logically, in fact better than other tools.
So that this isn’t a total waste, one thing I did notice is that audio markers are not split into a separate… phrase? Not sure how best to describe it, but here for example:
If I loop that subtitle I have to listen to that musical passage each time before the spoken part is repeated.

Oh, I’m gonna add a step to the cleaning logic so that these brackets things are filtered out.
